What it costs
How a bathroom job gets priced
We don't post prices, because a bathroom is only a price once we have seen it. Here is what moves the number and when you get it.
What decides the price
A few things move the price of a bathroom job, and we look at all of them at the visit.
What is behind the wall: old pipe, rot or a drain that has to move
Whether the work is a toilet and a bar, or a whole shower
The fixtures you pick and what the supplier has in stock
Tile or solid wall panels in a conversion
What the plan includes, and what it doesn't
The plan prices the work it describes.
Included: labor, the fixtures and parts we install, blocking and hauling away what we remove
Not included: painting, new flooring, an electrician or a new doorway
Not included: a permit fee, which is shown on its own line when a job needs one
What happens at the visit
We watch, measure and talk. We open nothing and sell nothing at the door. We tell you the visit fee on the phone before you book, and if you hire us for the work in the plan, the fee comes off the total.
When you get the number
In writing, within a few days of the visit, before any work. It is a fixed price for the work on the plan. If we open a wall and find something that changes the job, we stop and ask you first.
How and when you pay
The plan says what is due before we order the fixtures and what is due when the job is done. We don't ask for the full amount before the work starts.
If the job changes
A change is priced on paper and agreed with you before we do it. If you want a bar moved or a bench added once the wall is open, we write down the price first, and you can say no.
A written plan, with the price in it, comes before any work.
Ask first
Ask about the visit before you book
We will tell you the visit terms on the phone, and you can still say no after.
